THIRTY.

wow that is soooo old :)
i am still not 30 so i can say that!

i used to think like 25 was old,
but then i turned 25
now that i am 29 i can't believe my husband is 30!

i am so blessed, excited, thrilled and happy to daily call you my husband...my OLD husband!
I LOVE YOU!

see the chain on our art wall...it's now short!
2 more days til jacob's birthday...the big 30.
2 more days til jacob comes home.
2 more days til uncle rob and auntie erica are here.
2 more days til jacob is off for 5 days!
we can't wait!

when you can't find your tools,
pretzels will do just fine.
jake did this all on his own.
he brought it out to show me and started dancing with the music.

then he needed a little snack while dancing so it worked out great because he just so happened to have some pretzels.
what a treat it is to see what the kids will come up with next...

summer olympics 2028.

can you tell that i am starting them out young to be great swimmers!
there is a time and a place for everything,
this just so happened to be the time that jake needed to learn how to properly wear his swimming goggles.
i would just like to warn the swimmers that are preparing for the 2028 olympics...
be afraid, be very afraid:)





jake may have been smiling, but i am working on getting him to look a little more intimidating...

til uncle rob and auntie erica come to visit!
we can't wait!
we are counting down...

busy.

our life has been very busy.
just when i think things are going to slow down, they don't.

last week:
monday: jacob out of town
tuesday: jacob out of town
wednesday: jacob flew back and was really sick so he didn't go back to work that day.
thursday: jacob worked and unpacked his bags so i could pack
friday: i flew to colorado for my wonderful sister-in-laws Masters graduation.
saturday: i was in colorado
sunday: i was in colorado and got home at 10pm.

today: jacob worked
tuesday: jacob works and leaves for canada
wednesday: jacob in canada
thursday: jacob in canada
friday: jacob in canada & he comes home
saturday: jacob works
sunday: CHURCH!

monday: jacob to canada
tuesday: jacob to canada
wednesday: jacob in canada & he comes home & uncle rob and auntie erica come (Jacob's 30th birthday!)
uncle rob and auntie erica will be here for a week!!

see this is a very busy life of packing and unpacking bags...and quickly doing laundry for the next trip.

so yesterday night grandpa was here.
we were all sitting at the table.
he was getting ready to go home.
he was sitting across the table from gabriella and said, " i (pointing to his eye), love (pointing to his heart), you (pointing to gabriella)."

gabriella's response was:
"i (pointing to her eye)...... phone (pointing to my my phone, which is not an iphone)!
it was sooooo funny, we all laughed so hard! she got sooo embarrassed! she was not trying to be funny.:)

today at lunch melonie prayed for our food and then she prayed,
"please help the lady bug come out so we can see her, Amen"

so i of course asked where is the lady bug?
she said, "in gabi's room!"
like it was no big deal,
like we keep other bugs in there,
soooooo i'm on the lookout for a lady bug!

i can't wait to see what they will come up with next!

gabriella asks us all the time...

so when she got her toes painted by auntie judy she said...
"is this silly?"
to be honest she asks this question a lot and most of the time it is something silly.
she picked the colors herself!
she makes us laugh a lot :)
