she is 16 times BIGGER today than she was on the day she was born!
she is so special to us all!
she has a strong personality and a sweet heart!
she started out in this world just 12 inches long, but she has always been a fighter!
she was bound and determined to make it...
we are so thankful for all of the prayers and wonderful nurses and doctors and our strength in God to get us through that hard time.
today we are celebrating another wonderful year with her in our family!

we were 3 months pregnant...
then 3 months later SHE was born...
3 months early...

TODAY our precious girl is 3 years old!

ReplyDeletesilla that post made me cry a bit. i remember her being that little and the day I stood in church and Pastor prayed for you and baby girl because you were in the hospital. the shock, since we had just been out with you the night before ("feeling her kick"). what an amazing journey and we are so happy for your whole family and that we were able to pray for Gabriella and have watched her grow up so big and strong and feisty over the last three years. I can't believe it has been that long already.

ReplyDeletei don't know how i missed this post...i can't believe she is already 3!! she will always be evidence to you and jacob of how powerful God is. he can bring a tiny baby girl into this world far too early and grow her up to be a healthy, strong and beautiful blessing from God. thanks for letting me come visit you while she was in the nicu. those few days will always be amazing to me. and to see her smiling face in photos now at 3 years old? God is awesome. we are celebrating with you. i hope i get to meet her again someday.
