ORTHOPEDIC UPDATE:
we went to the orthopedic again. 

they said that the bones look very good and straight.

BUT...

they said that looking at the x-rays the bones did not heal straight last time!

which means they were more apt to break again...

all of this they never told us before, which is very frustrating.

i mean she already re-broke it and it's done, 

but it would have been nice to have this information!

So now we go back in a month

at which time they will take the cast off if it is strong enough.

we will just have to wait and see and pray in the mean time 

that it gets strong!

last weekend we got to visit friends and see their piggies.
gabriella really liked the pigs.


Gabriella said, "they need to shave their face!"
and i couldn't agree more.

they were so darn cute.
and pretty smelly too,
but i like the smell because it reminds me of the fair,
which always brings back great memories!

we also went to wedding #2 of the season,
but i didn't get any pics because i was holding jake.
wedding #3 is coming up at the beginning of July.

Orthopedic update

yesterday we went to the orthopedic and they took an x-ray

and said the bones are still lined up and they look good. 

we didn't have to get a new cast, so that was a blessing

because gabriella doesn't like to have casts taken off...

so we will continue to pray that those little bones will heal

better than the time before so she won't have to have surgery!

first time swimming

In Kansas our hotel had an indoor pool.
jake had never been swimming before and at that time
gabriella's splint could come off of her arm to go in the pool.
we all had a ton of fun, especially gabriella,
but now that fun is over for a while.
we are hoping that she will be able to swim
towards the end of the summer.
