break time.

well since i haven't written in over a week you may have guessed that i am on a blog break.
i have so much to tell about and lots of cute pics to share, but
PAPA IS HERE!!!!!!

and we are very busy
and i have had this persistent headache that has left me in lots of pain!

sooooo, i'm on a blog break.

i will probably not be back til next week.

cleaning.

since we have moved i have come up with a cleaning schedule that seems to work for me and for our household needs.

each day i try to deep clean one room/area of the house.
i know that this schedule is still a work in progress, but so far it is what works best.

monday:
living room
clean all tile and shark (steam clean)
laundry: darks

tuesday:
kitchen/dining room
laundry: lights

wednesday:
bedrooms
vacuum all bedrooms
laundry: whites

thursday:
bathrooms
clean all tile and shark

friday:
laundry: darks
plan meals for the next week, or organize my list for shopping if meals are already planned.

now i know that my house is not spotless, but i want it to stay clean enough that i don't feel it is yucky.
for me this works.
i only deep clean the kitchen one time a week, but i try to leave it with no dirty dishes each night and all picked up.

is there something that you think is soooo gross that i should clean it more?

memory.

the other night gab and daddy played memory.
she was very serious and was excited to be playing a game!
she is happy doing anything with her daddy.
and she won!

homemade car carrier.

i made this little traveling car carrier for a very special guy's birthday!
i saw the idea on another blog and knew he would love it.
and since i am trying to make more gifts i thought this would be great.
it was not perfect, but i just had to keep reminding myself that he is only 2 and would like it.

sharing.

gabriella is a very kind sister.
she loves jake very much and the other night she shared her banana with him.
it was the cutest little thing ever!
how could you say no to that cutie!
i know the peel looks gross. it was half eaten earlier in the day.
they went every other til it was all gone.
i am so thankful for their sweet hearts!
